Get Involved

My World My Home gives students the skills necessary to run their own environmental campaign in their community. Find out if your college is involved below and sign up to take part!

Why get involved?

  • You’ll learn how to make positive changes happen in your community or college
  • Build your confidence in public speaking, or in one-to-one conversations
  • Meet other young people who share your concerns for the environment
  • Earn digital badges recognised by universities & recruitment websites such as LinkedIn
  • A 3-day, all expenses paid residential trip with other student activists

How does it work?

As part of the course, you’ll receive:

  • 2 days of intensive training in community campaigning in your home city
  • Campaigning guidance and support from a coach based in your region/city
  • Volunteering opportunities in the wider climate movement
  • Fortnightly one-to-one tuition and coaching

Graduation takes place at Friend of the Earth’s national youth gathering in July, with environmentalists from across the UK.
